If you're having a problem listening and have Norton Internet Security or Norton Internet Firewall Installed
The appearance of numerous instances of the word "undefined" in the Live365 Player window (as well as other odd behavior such as incomplete or continuous loading or an "object expected" error) is normally caused by Norton Internet Security, Norton Personal Firewall, or Norton Anti-Spam. To enable Live365/Radio365 with Norton Internet Security running on your computer - follow the directions below:
- Click on 'Open Norton Internet Security' (if it is already a tray icon) -or just open the program any way you can-
- Click on Personal Firewall
- Click on 'Configure'
- Select the 'PROGRAMS' Tab
- Click on 'Program Scan..." (It will do a full system scan of all programs on your HD)
- Scroll down to the Radio365 icon and click on it
- Under the 'Internet Access' tab, click there until a little sub menu appears showing the function "Permit all." Select Permit All.
- Click OK
- Exit Norton
- Restart the computer
For 2004 products
- Open Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.
- Click Ad Blocking > Configure > Advanced > Add Site.
- Type www.Live365.com and then click OK.
- Select the newly created www.Live365.com entry. In the right pane, on the Ad Blocking tab, click Add.
- Select Permit.
- Type a single / into the dialog box, and the Click OK.
- Click OK to close any open windows.
- Log out of Live365 then delete all temporary internet files ( Internet Explorer: Tools->Internet Options->Delete Files; Mozilla/Firefox: Tools> Options> Privacy> Cache> Clear)
- Restart the computer.
For 2003 products
- Open Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.
- Click Options.
- On the Web Contents tab, click Add Site.
- Type www.Live365.com and then click OK.
- Select the newly created www.Live365.com entry. In the right pane, on the Ad Blocking tab, click Add.
- Select Permit.
- Type a single / into the dialog box, and the Click OK.
- Click OK to close any open windows.
- Log out of Live365 then delete all temporary internet files ( Internet Explorer: Tools->Internet Options->Delete Files; Mozilla/Firefox: Tools> Options> Privacy> Cache> Clear)
- Restart the computer.
For Norton Anti-Spam:
- Open Norton Anti-Spam
- Click on "Ad Blocking" (or "Popup Blocking" whichever is on)
- Click on "Advanced" to configure for individual web sites
- Click on "Add Site" and a window will appear named "New Site/Domain"
- Enter www.Live365.com, and click "OK" and the site will be highlighted in the Web Contents Options window
- Click "Add..." under the Ad Blocking window and the "Add New HTML String" window will appear. Select "Permit," type in a backslash "/" and click OK, then click OK in the Advanced window
- Log out of Live365 then delete all temporary internet files ( Internet Explorer: Tools->Internet Options->Delete Files; Mozilla/Firefox: Tools> Options> Privacy> Cache> Clear)
- Restart the computer.
