Why should you pay for a VIP Membership instead of listening for free? - a few thoughts to consider

You help the broadcasters you listen to pay the bills

Every broadcaster at Live365 pays to broadcast. In return,Live365 takes care of the technical side of streaming our music,as well as doing the paperwork and paying the Publishing and Performance Rights Royalties for the music we broadcast. At the end of each month,Live365 gives each broadcaster credit towards their costs of broadcasting based on the total number of hours VIP Members listened to that station during the month. Also,if you sign up for a VIP Membership from the link on the broadcaster's web site or the broadcaster's Live365 station page, that broadcaster will recieve a one-time reward credit. So you are not only helping to support Live365 by becoming a VIP Member, you are also helping the stations you enjoy to continue broadcasting.

You help Musicians pay the bills

Live365 pays both Songwriter Royalties (to the composer(s) of a piece of music) and Copyright Royalties (to the owner of the copyright of a piece of music). Musicians can sign up to recieve their share of the Copyright Royalty for songs they played on by going to http://www.soundexchange.com and registering. By becoming a VIP Member, you help the people who create the great music you're listening to!

No more popups or banner ads while listening.

No more Live365-based audio ads

The only ads you'll hear are on streams relaying commercial terrestrial stations or streams from professional broadcasters (they pay their own rights royalties through selling their own advertising).

You can listen to any station anytime

All Live365 stations have a limited number of free listener slots availible. When those are full,non-VIPs can't get in until a listener slot opens up. But Preferred Members are not subject to those limits:they can listen to any station at any time.
